Large interior focal points

One well-placed tree can organize a large gathering space

Scale, viewing level, circulation, ceiling height, ornament density, and surrounding architecture all influence whether an interior tree feels integrated or temporary.

Property-specific planning

The calendar and meaning of the space should lead the design

A church holiday program may serve weekly worship, Christmas productions, school or preschool families, concerts, outreach events, and first-time visitors. The design can connect the street approach, sanctuary entry, lobby, stage-adjacent areas, courtyards, and fellowship spaces without treating every zone the same.

Planning begins with service times, rehearsals, memorials, weddings, school use, volunteer workdays, and the final event of the season. HLI then identifies professional installation windows, approved surfaces, power, storage, and the level of décor the staff can support between services.

One property, one complete program

Create a connected experience from the first arrival to the final focal point

01 / 03

Street and sanctuary arrival

Rooflines, crosses or towers, entry trees, and landscape accents can guide first-time guests while keeping permanent campus identity clear.

02 / 03

Lobby and fellowship spaces

Trees, greenery, and photo areas can welcome families and groups without narrowing check-in, hospitality, accessibility, or post-service circulation.

03 / 03

Productions and community events

Seasonal installations can support concerts, pageants, markets, and outreach when the décor and event-production plans share dates, power, and access assumptions.

Beautiful through the full season

Keep the property moving and the display looking its best

HLI coordinates design, installation, in-season service, removal, and storage as one complete program, with the property schedule considered from the beginning.

01

Work around worship and care schedules

Installation and removal account for services, rehearsals, counseling, memorials, weddings, school activity, and other times when equipment or noise is inappropriate.

02

Respect sacred architecture

The design identifies the features that should be framed, the surfaces that need special approval, and the areas where restraint is more appropriate.

03

Separate professional and volunteer scopes

If volunteers contribute décor, responsibilities and timing are defined so ladders, power, materials, and warranties do not conflict with HLI's installed work.

04

Plan reuse and storage

Trees, ornaments, greenery, custom pieces, and labeled zones are organized for an easier return, with changes documented for the next Christmas season.

Churches & Worship Campuses questions

What to know before you request a quote

01Can HLI work around weekly services and Christmas rehearsals?

Yes, when the complete calendar is provided early. The proposed sequence should identify quiet periods, equipment restrictions, room access, and dates when no work can occur.

02Can volunteers add decorations after HLI installs?

That should be discussed during design. HLI can identify the professional scope and any areas volunteers should not alter because of electrical, attachment, warranty, or access considerations.

03Does HLI provide both outdoor lights and indoor trees?

Exterior architecture and landscape, interior trees and greenery, and selected event or photo moments can be scoped as one program based on budget and access.

04When can takedown happen after Christmas services?

Removal is scheduled from the agreed final-use date, campus calendar, storage access, and HLI's route. Share any January services or events that require décor to remain longer.
